Pothohari Art and Craft Village, situated at Shakarparian Islamabad, is a joint venture of Indus Heritage Trust and, Capital Development Authority (CDA). Sungi Development Foundation has taken on the task of coordinating crafts persons access and quality improvement at Potohari. It its constructed as per cultural heritage of Pakistan village society.  It is to promote Pakistani Arts and Crafts and strengthen livelihoods of rural artisans by providing them direct access to market. 

The Art and Craft village was inaugurated by Ela R. Bhatt, Mr. Imtiaz Inayat Elahi,Chairman CDA and Ms. Samina Khan, Ex ecutive Director Sungi Development Foundation.  

Very warm congratulations to Sungi and Sabah- Pakistan for so successfully organizing all the three events of historical significance. Indeed, it is a great beginning.
