SECTOR:    Cash for Choice

Supported by: Oxfam Novib

ACTIVITY

Sungi is implementing a project ''Cash for Choice'' with support of Oxfam Novib. Objective is to support dwellers of Swat, Dir, Buner who left their homes without having any necessities of life and living either with host families or at rented houses. The cash is being provided as their right to fulfill their immediate needs.

 Project is being implemented in District Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan & Swabi. In total 3000 families would be supported with Rs.8,000 each having family members 1-5 (i.e. Category A) & Rs.12,000 each with family member 6 or more (i.e. Category B)

 Assessment & token distribution is already in process at District Abbottabad for 500 families; Haripur 500 families; Swabi 1000 families; and Mardan 1000 families. While cash would be disbursed on 12th June to following locations:
