A meeting was conducted with the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) by the District forum Haripur. The meeting was facilitated by the District Manager Shahid Aziz with the support of resources persons of tehsil Haripur.
The meeting was started by the formal introduction followed by briefly sharing of agenda by District Manager Shahid Aziz. After the brief agenda the focal person of DF Mr. Tehseen ul Haq started the discussion with note of thanks to deputy commissioner office. The agenda point was one by one discussed.
Sungi district forum members discussed the matter of Minorities families of Ghazi for registering and processing of their Domicile. ADC highly appreciated the efforts and also advised the concerned department to resolve this matter soon after the LG Elections. Mr. Tahseen Ul Haq also briefed him about the Sungi efforts for inclusion of Minorities, Transgender and PWDs in District Haripur. Doctor Irfan shared the updates about the recent appointment of Minorities under 5% quota in different departments of Haripur. He also pays thanked to administration for the true implementation of this law in District Haripur. The meeting was also attended by Shoukat Jalal and other minority members. At the end of the meeting completed lists for domicile registration along with cover letter from President District forum handed over to ADC. The ADC started with note of thanks for Sungi for taking up this issue with district administration.
ADC assured that his office will send letters to all concerned districts for getting NOC, after receiving the NOC one window operation will launched to facilitate all the listed individuals. ADC also asked the minority focal person for close follow up with all government announced jobs as government is giving 5 % jobs to minorities. He said this is the best way to empower the marginalised groups.
Another meeting on the same day was held with COVID Response Unit In-Charge Doctor Rafy. DF Members briefed the Doctor Rafy about the Christmas Event celebration. DF members also requested to provide the mask and sanitizers for the church to avoid COVID spread. In response Doctor Rafi assured the provision of mask and sanitizers for the church before the Christmas.
Decisions taken;
- Minority focal person will prepare a list of families have not get domicile. He will prepare a file long with application and submit to ADC office in a week.
- ADC office will send file to home department for getting necessary approval as an special case.
- A meeting will be arranged with MS-DHQ regarding PWD’s board sitting in Ghazi Tehsil
- A letter will be provided to Sungi regarding job quota announcement for minorities
