Sungi Development Foundation Holds Two-Day Progress Review & Planning Meeting
In the month of August, Sungi Development Foundation successfully organized a two-day Progress Review and Planning Meeting at our Regional Office in Abbottabad. This meeting brought together the vibrant and dedicated teams working in KP and Punjab regions, ensuring that all members—whether long-standing or new to Sungi—are aligned with the organization’s vision and goals for the upcoming period.
The event, moderated by our Programme Manager, Mr. Shahid Aziz, served as a comprehensive platform to discuss and review ongoing projects while setting the strategic course for future activities. One of the central focuses was to facilitate a deeper understanding of our core values and operational policies among the newly inducted team members. An overview of Sungi Development Foundation’s mission, history, and the vital role we play in transforming communities was presented, giving the new staff a better grasp of the organization’s identity and vision.
Sungi’s key Administration, Human Resource, and Financial policies were shared with all staff members, ensuring consistency in practice and adherence to our guidelines. These policies are essential for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, providing the backbone for ensuring accountability, transparency, and professionalism across all our teams.
Project Review and Discussions were held among the participating teams from various ongoing programs, including PPAF EQUIP, PYLI, and AWAZ II. These discussions not only helped in assessing the current progress of each initiative but also offered a platform to exchange ideas, challenges, and strategies for maximizing the impact of our development projects. The review sessions were interactive, fostering an environment where every voice was heard, and team members could contribute to refining our approaches.
In addition to the group meetings, separate departmental sessions were conducted to focus specifically on the implementation of Sungi’s policies.
These sessions helped staff members deepen their understanding of how organizational policies translate into their daily roles, promoting clarity and better coordination.
