The Aawaz II Annual Review Visit in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was hosted by Sungi Development Foundation in District Abbottabad. Field Visit and Community Engagement
The delegation visited the Aawaz Aagahi Centre (AAC) in Tanan and met with District Forum (DF), Village Forum (VF), Aawaz Change Agents (ACAs), and Special Interest Group (SIG) representatives.
Participants highlighted Aawaz II’s contributions to social cohesion, inclusion, voice and accountability, and community resilience, while reaffirming their commitment to sustaining programme achievements beyond its closure.
Assessing Impact and Sustainability
The review assessed the programme’s progress in empowering marginalized groups, reducing vulnerabilities to exploitation, addressing discrimination and intolerance, and strengthening local ownership through government and community structures to ensure the sustainability of outcomes beyond UK-funded support.
