SDF and Election Commission Abbottabad have celebrated National Voter’s( Day 7th December) successfully. Aim of the event was to Sensitize the Youth, Women and Transgender about the importance of their vote in Democratic system of the country. Event was held at District Council Hall Abbottabad. Mr. Usman Ashraf Assistant Commissioner ABT , Additional Deputy Commissioner ABT Mr. Shahid, Regional Election Commissioner Sardar Jahanzeb, Tehsil Nazims of ABT and Havelian, District body members of Transgender Society, students from Special education, Deputy DEO (F) Haripur, DEO Social Welfare attended the event. Event was followed by walk/rally started from district Council Hall and ended at press club Abbottabad. Event was very successful and highly appreciated by all the stakeholders. Event was reported in almost 13 local and national newspapers. Local electronic media also recorded the event and shown at local channels on same day.
