Women empowerment on political and social grounds, under output suggested activities were purely designed to strengthen and improve the women social and political role in project target areas. Under the Umbrella of District Voter Education Committee (DVEC) Haripur and Abbottabad voter education session were conducted in different villages of District Haripur and Abbottabad.. In these sessions Sungi has involved both man and women of the particular areas.

In order to reactivate the partner CBOs and Community base forums SDF involved these CBOs for conducting voter education session at community level. Partner CBOs were asked to arrange these sessions at community level, these sessions were successfully conducted and a very good number of men and women of has participated in these sessions. Representative of District Election Commission office Haripur along with DVEC facilitator from Abbottabad Ms. Raifia Jadoon were directly involved for facilitation of these session at community level. Similarly, Sungi’s partner organizations and AWAZ project already established Agahi centers were engaged to give them active role and ownership of program. As AWAZ Agahi centers earlier had played tremendous role for raising local governance issues, good mechanism for redressale and community awareness.
