In order to promote gender balance in the society, Sungi/AAWAZ had organized a series of interventions with married couples. 08 couples were selected from district Haripur who had actively engaged in these gender sensitization sessions where they not only learnt through discussions but were also practically involved in developing their action plan of their routine life matters. Sungi field staff guided them to reflect on considerable aspects of their lives and focus on achieving their own vision. Further on, they helped couples to identify issues and challenges in their relationships and ways to address them and how to initiate a conversation for joint decision-making. In the last session, outcomes of all the sessions and success stories were discussed.
