A ceremony was held for Memorandum of Understanding for doing collective efforts on women CNIC formation & their voter registrations Between Sungi Development Foundation (AAWAZ Programme) and District Election Commission of Pakistan), NADRA , and District Voter Education Committee The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to establish a strong working relationship between District Election Commission Office, NADRA office, and District Voter Education Committee for the purpose of ensuring maximum women CNIC formation and their registrations as voters.

TERMS OF THE MOU

Parties agree to enter into MOU pertaining to extend all possible efforts for working on the subject cause (as mentioned above), starting from January 2018 till commencement of general election 2018.
Sungi Development Foundation will identify such women across the district (with focus to 10 AAWAZ Union Councils-list of UCs attached) and will share the lists (not below 100) with NADRA for acquiring its MRV services.
In the cases where identified women from a specific area/village are less than 100, NADRA will entertain such women in its office during office timings.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in relation to this MoU, including the validity, invalidity, breach or termination thereof, shall be settled by the parties concerned amicably by a mutual agreement between the representatives of the Parties concerned.
