Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative in Climate Change!
Sungi Development Foundation conducted “Leadership Training for Young Climate Leaders” aimed to empower young individuals from rural area of Abbottabad and Haripur district with knowledge and skills to address climate change challenges.
Over four days, participants engaged in interactive sessions, practical activities, and collaborative discussions designed to foster leadership and environmental/climate stewardship.
Participants explored the fundamentals of climate science and the impacts of global warming by performing different activities to encouraging young leaders to reflect on their personal connections to the environment/climate changes and consequences of climate changes on human and ecosystem.
This initiative allowed participants to present their innovative ideas for mitigating climate change and engage with the community, fostering a sense of accomplishment and motivation to implement their plans within their respective communities.
