Mr. Khalid Saleem has Master degree in Anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and specializes in fiscal Decentralization, Local Governance and Financial Management from Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University, North Carolina. , USA. Mr. Saleem has also completed his Certification in Program Management from the Office of Acquisition & Assistance-USAID University, Washington DC, USA during his association with USAID Pakistan.
Mr. Saleem is a development practitioner working in the field of sustainable social development, democracy, rights and governance (DRG) sectors with specific focus on local governance, institutional reforms, policy formulation and networking. Extensive experience of program/project design, networking and partnerships, resource mobilization, field operations and implementation monitoring, design and conduct capacity building programs, inclusive policy dialogues among stakeholders to determine needs and possible policy interventions particularly related to social development, civil society capacity building and engagement, humanitarian assistance, resilience and social safeguards. Mr. Saleem has worked with various international and national development organizations including USAID, CIDA, WIPO, EU, UNDP, UNICEF, Halcrow Rural Management, National Rural Support Program and SEBCON Pvt. Ltd and managed numerous national level sustainable social development, infrastructure, livelihoods and capacity building programs in South Asia.
