On August 9, 2017 a provincial consultation on social audit (Health & Education) has been organized at Pearl Continental Hotel Peshawar by Sungi Development Foundation under AAWAZ Rights and Accountability Programme. All three other consortium partners i.e. Aurat Foundation, SPO and SAP-PK have actively contributed in organizing this provincial event. A large number of provincial and district government officials from Health & Education departments have participated. Key objectives of this consultation was to facilitate the engagement between citizens and service providers on improving service delivery in health and education sectors with focusing to Learning by doing approach to assessing the physical and other gaps between needs and resources available for health and education; and identifying systemic issues in service delivery.
