Sungi Development Foundation participated in the 10th Annual Rural Conference on Rural Women Day in Pakistan. The event was organized by PODA at Lok Virsa Islamabad from Oct 16-17, 2017. Sungi’s two stalls displayed local cultural embroidery on suits, purse, shawls, teapots and mobile covers etc. Sungi staff participated in sessions on political and economic empowerment of rural women, climate change and food security, and violence against women etc.
