In line with Sungi’s objective of women political empowerment, District Women Assembly was held at Alpine Hotel Abbottabad on 3rd August 2017. In said event, 07 men from ADF and 36 Women Assembly members had participated. There was an active contribution from religious minority groups and excluded women assembly members from the UCs. During the event, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Women Assembly gave detailed presentation to the participants over the process and hurdles faced by women in the political participation and ADF Member Mr. Idrees Awan also discussed the legal perspective.
