Sungi through AAWAZ Programme interventions organized a women assembly at district level focusing on women political participation. 10 men and 25 women assembly members actively participated in the event. Honorable federal representative from NCSW, Mr. Shahid Iqbal chaired the event. After detailed discussion and Q/A session, Mr. Shahid Iqbal briefed the legal perspective of WPP and role of NCSW in promoting women rights agenda. He also showed commitment on behalf of NCSW for resolving women issue coming at their end.
